Made for Glory Places in 2017 IBAs | Deep River BooksCongratulations to Deep River Books author Joshua A. McClure! McClure’s book Made for Glory: In the Image and Likeness of God has been named a finalist in the Religion: Christianity” category of the 2017 International Book Awards”.

In Made for Glory, McClure combines testimony and biblical inquiry to unlock mysteries that have great implications for our lives. His flair for graphic, powerful biblical study removes blinders and opens the way for deep reflection on past assumptions and misinformation about the purposes of God for his created beings. It’s a must-read for anyone pursuing the truth of who they are and what it means to be made in God’s glorious image.

Made for Glory was one of over 1,500 books submitted into the 80 International Book Awards categories, and one of five finalists in the Religion: Christianity category.

McClure has won judges’ favor before, in past contests. The manuscript for The Crimson Thread of the Bible won a Deep River Books Award of Excellence in 2010. Two years later, in 2012, Who Do You Say I AM? received our Certificate of Merit Award. But now we celebrate as IBA honors his work on an international level.

McClure has written three books with us, and five overall. His other titles are Can These Bones Live?; Almost Persuaded, Now To Believe; The Crimson Thread of the Bible; and Who Do You Say I AM?  For more information about McClure and Made for Glory, check out his book here, or his website here.
